Visible-light-based interoperability and networking
VisIoN was a European Innovative Training Network funded under Horizon 2020 (grant agreement no. 764461) that trained a cohort of early-stage researchers in visible-light communications (VLC). The network brought together universities and industry partners across Europe to advance VLC for the Internet of Things, indoor positioning, vehicular communications, and 5G/6G integration. ECRN-OWC partner institutions contributed to the training programme, joint publications, and prototype development.
